Balzsam Apartment House in Harkány welcomes guests looking to unwind and relax, just a short walk from the Thermal Spa.
We pay special attention to the cleanliness of our apartments. In addition to regular cleaning, we also disinfect with an ozone generator for complete peace of mind.
The single-storey, U-shaped main building stands in a 3,970 m² arboretum with mature trees. The enclosed courtyard has parking for 15 cars, or for a coach in the case of groups. Alongside a lounge and other shared rooms, 8 fully equipped, modern and individually designed apartments await you, one of which is suitable for guests with reduced mobility. The building entrance, the apartment entrances and a washroom in the shared area are designed accordingly.
Each apartment, heated in winter, has a bedroom, living room, dining area and bathroom. Six of them can take extra beds for up to four guests; the remaining two sleep two guests each. The former are 35 m², the latter 32 m². Other rooms include a 62 m² shared lounge, reception, laundry, workshop and boiler room.
Guests also enjoy 50 Mbit/s internet with full WiFi coverage, and cable TV in every apartment and in the lounge. The wooden furniture is custom-made and hand-painted, decorated with the herb or flower each apartment is named after — Pipacs (poppy), Mályva (mallow), Levendula (lavender), Búzavirág (cornflower) or Pitypang (dandelion), for example.
Garden furniture invites you to sunbathe, read or chat in the evening. The house also has two infrared saunas, available to guests for a fee.
Summer or winter, the apartment house is also a great venue for weddings, engagements, family occasions, company training days, product presentations and other events.

Do you accept SZÉP cards?
Yes, OTP SZÉP cards are accepted by prior arrangement.
Is it possible to book without a deposit?
The 50% deposit we ask for in advance allows us to manage our rooms, so unfortunately we cannot waive it.
When will I receive confirmation of my deposit?
Confirmations are not sent automatically, but we reply to every enquiry on the third working day after payment.
Do you have WiFi?
Yes, in every apartment and in the lounge.
When can I check in?
Rooms are available from 2 pm on the day of arrival.
When do I need to check out?
Please vacate the room by 10 am on the day of departure.
When do I need to pay?
Please pay the full amount on arrival. We cannot refund stays that are cut short. Thank you for your understanding!
How do I get here from the bus station?
It is about 500 metres — an easy walk, or you can take a taxi. From the bus, walk along Bajcsy-Zsilinszky utca to the police station, then turn right to find the apartment house.
Could my car stay in the courtyard for another afternoon?
Yes, by prior arrangement.
Can I come without a GP referral?
If you would like to have treatments at Harkány Thermal Spa, Hungarian guests need their TAJ card, ID card and address card.
Do you offer a child discount?
There is no specific child discount; our apartment house is primarily adult-friendly. Children staying in the same room as their parents are charged the extra bed rate.
My relatives would like to come at the weekend — is that possible?
Yes, we are happy to accommodate them too, subject to availability. Please arrange in advance.
